NIAID/NIH Grant Writing Workshop

On February 14, 2011, PAO Kate Kaetzer-Hodson helped open a two-day workshop hosted by NIAID/NIH at the Hotel Salam in Bamako Mali.  The workshop brings together over 80 researchers from across Mali to learn more about the grants process.  In addition to the NIAID/NIH; presenters include the World Health Organization, l’Agence Universitaire Francophone, UNESCO, USAID, Fulbright, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.  The goal of the workshop is to better prepare researchers to seek out international funding opportunities and become more successful in the grants writing process.
