PAS Bamako offers English teachers new teaching strategies in Ségou region.

As part of U.S. Embassy Bamako’s efforts to enhance English teaching and improve quality education, the Public Affairs Section, in partnership with English Inspectors from the Ministry of Education hosted an English Teaching Workshop in Ségou, Mali. The trainer, Susan Strand, shared new teaching strategies that were greeted with enthusiasm by the participants. They promised to use the new techniques intensively in their classrooms and to share their new knowledge, with those who did not have the chance to attend.  Both trainer and participants found the workshop inspiring and exciting learning experience. All the attendees expressed interest in additional opportunities of this type.

In short, Ségou English workshop was a great success for both Malian and American perspectives.
