Welcome to the Consular Section!

The Consular Section of the United States Embassy in Bamako, Mali is committed to providing clients consular services respectfully, efficiently, and in accordance with U.S. law.

The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Bamako provides the full range of American Citizen Services including passports, the Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, and notarials. 

We encourage all U.S. citizens, whether residing in Mali or just visiting Mali for a few days to register in person at the Consular Section or via the electronic registration system at https://travelregistration.state.gov/ibrs/home.asp.
