Consular Hours
The consular section strives to respond quickly and efficiently to all public inquiries. In order to do so, it is absolutely critical that all public inquiries (any inquiry that comes from outside the mission) be directed to the following channels:

For emergencies, please call 20-70-23-01
American Citizens who wish to register with the Embassy or who require emergency services are welcome to come during normal U.S. Embassy hours which are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the exception of Wednesday afternoons when the Consular Section is closed to the public.
Visa Service Hours
Non-immigrant visa interviews
Monday - Wednesday 7:30 a.m - 12:30 p.m
Effective July 1, 2009, all applicants for non-immigrant visas will be made on line for no cost on the Embassy’s web site at – http://mali.usembassy.gov/visas.html
Applicants will need their receipt for $131 non-immigrant visa fee paid at any branch of Banque Internationale pour le Mali (BIM) in order to make an appointment.
Immigrant Visa Petitions (I-130)
Petitions for immediate relative immigrant classification are accepted on American Citizen Service’s hours
Refugee/Asylee
Thurdays 10:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m

Walk in hours: Thursdays 10:00 a.m – 12:00 p.m
Note the Embassy closes Friday afternoons at 11:30 a.m.
