The Cultural Assistant interacts with students

On June 29, 2009, The Cultural Assistant presented a film of President Obama’s speech in Caro at the University of Bamako. He highlighted the main points of the speech. English department students enjoyed the opportunity to listen directly to the American President and learn that the US would pursue new partnerships in the world. The discussion after the video gave students a chance to use and practice their English. The faculty sponsor, American Studies teacher Moussa Sissoko expressed his interest in similar session in the future.

 Both the teacher and students expressed a great admiration for the American people.
