Art Exhibition

April 18, 2011

On April 18th, the American Club was the setting for an impressive exhibit of works by Luntala Tezadio, an artist from the Congo, now living in Mali.  Tezadio happens to be deaf, and teaches art at the School for the Deaf in the HIppodrome area of Bamako. In her speech to invited guests from the diplomatic community, Ambassador Milovanovic emphasized not only the quality of Tezadio’s work, but also the importance of making sure that the talents and contributions of people with disabilities were not overlooked.
